Manns Wine Launches “Solaris Komoro Chardonnay Vieilles Vignes 2024”

Manns Wine Co., Ltd. has begun sales of “Solaris Komoro Chardonnay Vieilles Vignes 2024.”

This special wine is made from carefully selected Chardonnay grown in Komoro on vines more than 35 years old.

Here are the details.

One of Japan's Oldest Chardonnay Vineyards

The grapes used for “Solaris Komoro Chardonnay Vieilles Vignes 2024” come from one of the oldest vineyards in Japan.

Manns Wine built a winery in Komoro City, Nagano Prefecture, in 1973 and carried out its first vinification that same year. In 1981, it began planting Chardonnay on vertical trellises using the proprietary “Manns Rain Cut” system on the winery grounds.

Today, the vineyard produces grapes from vines between 35 and 43 years old, an unusually advanced age for Japan.

About “Solaris Komoro Chardonnay Vieilles Vignes 2024”
