“Solaris Chikumagawa Chardonnay Barrel Fermented 2025” is the new vintage of a wine whose 2022 vintage was selected for JAL international First Class.
It is a limited-production premium white wine made from Chardonnay grown in Komoro on vines more than 30 years old.
About “Solaris Chikumagawa Chardonnay Barrel Fermented 2025”
“Solaris Chikumagawa Chardonnay Barrel Fermented 2025” is a white wine made from contract-grown Chardonnay from the Osato district of Komoro City, located in the eastern Chikumagawa Wine Valley of Nagano Prefecture.
Manns Wines was among the first to begin cultivating European grape varieties in this area, and some of the vines are now more than 30 years old.
The wine is fermented and aged in barrels, using a combination of new and seasoned barrels, resulting in a well-balanced wine with delicate fruit flavors and a moderate oak aroma.
This may be a good opportunity to give it a try.
