Manns Wines Releases Ultra-Sweet “Solaris Chikumagawa Shinano Riesling Cryo Extraction 2025”

Manns Wines has released “Solaris Chikumagawa Shinano Riesling Cryo Extraction 2025.”

Only around one-third of the grapes’ weight can be obtained as juice.

It is an exceptionally luxurious, intensely sweet wine.

About Shinano Riesling and Cryo Extraction

Shinano Riesling is a white grape variety independently bred by Manns Wines from Riesling as the father and Chardonnay as the mother, and was officially registered as a variety in 1991.

Cryo extraction is a method in which harvested grapes are frozen and then pressed as they begin to thaw.

The technique requires considerable labor and time, yielding only around one-third of the grapes’ weight as juice. The new wine uses this precious concentrated material to draw out the character of the variety, producing an exceptionally rich, ultra-sweet wine.

About the Wine

“Solaris Chikumagawa Shinano Riesling Cryo Extraction 2025” has a brilliant golden appearance.

Its vivid aromas evoke lychee, apricot, compote of yellow fruit and white flowers.

The palate is smooth, with dense sweetness reminiscent of yellow peach and ripe apple. Firm acidity gives the wine structure, harmonizing with the sweetness and carrying into a long finish.

It is a sweet wine that combines the concentration unique to cryo extraction with elegance.

An exceptionally luxurious bottle.

Be sure to check it out.
