About “Solaris Juventa 2023”
“Solaris Juventa 2023” is a red wine that balances Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend.
The 2021 vintage was selected for international-flight business class, while Solaris Juventa 2023 is the latest vintage, further refining its fruit expression and supple texture.
Tasting Profile
Solaris Juventa 2023 uses grapes from Manns Wines-managed and contracted vineyards in Komoro and Ueda, in the eastern Chikuma River Wine Valley area of Nagano Prefecture.
Concentrated black-fruit aromas of wild blueberry, plum and cassis are joined by nuances of bark and oak.
On the palate, the first impression is smooth and generous. Sweet black-fruit flavors balance comfortably with firm acidity, followed by fine-grained astringency through the latter part of the finish.
The head winemaker is Teppei Nishihata.
