"Solaris La Croix 2022" is a red wine made from grapes harvested in a single vineyard in the Higashiyama area of Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture.
The blend is approximately 66% Cabernet Sauvignon and 34% Merlot.
The 2022 vintage is described as deeply colored and amply tannic while retaining an appealing fruitiness.

The rim shows a slight nuance of maturity.
Complex aromas of cassis, black cherry, blackberry, clove, cedar and black pepper mingle with vanilla and roasted notes derived from oak. The attack is soft, opening into a concentrated expression of fruit.
The structure of Cabernet Sauvignon and the roundness of Merlot are in harmony, while the balance of rich tannins and acidity gives the wine an overall sense of definition. It is also expected to develop enjoyably after 5 to 10 years of aging.
