Nukui-en Ltd. is crowdfunding the establishment of what would be the first winery in Iruma City, Saitama Prefecture, to use grapes grown in its own vineyard.
The project has reached its initial target of ¥2 million and is now seeking support toward a next goal of ¥5 million.

About the Crowdfunding
Nukui-en is a locally rooted farm that has long produced and sold tea and log-grown shiitake mushrooms.
Representative Kaori Nukui succeeded former representative Giichi Nukui in 2023.
The winery project began with a dream of making wine around 2016, when the farm planted its first 60 grapevines.
Until now, winemaking has been contracted to Fumito Kakegawa of Cave d’Occi Winery in Niigata. In 2020, Nukui-en produced its first 80 bottles of traditional-method sparkling wine, and by 2023 it had grown to producing 593 bottles of 100% Pinot Noir red wine.
The planned winery, called the “Alcoholic Beverage Factory,” is intended to make not only wine but also dry cider, marc, apple brandy, and other distilled beverages, while also serving as a new tourism hub for the area.
About the Rewards
After reaching the initial ¥2 million target, the campaign is now aiming for a ¥5 million next goal.
Three new rewards have been added:
1) Approximately 1 kg of fresh log-grown shiitake mushrooms
2) Limited to 10 sets: one bottle of 2024 red wine plus a jar of Metzgerei Kusuda log-grown shiitake and pork-head aspic
3) Special two-bottle set: one 2024 red wine plus one 2025 sparkling wine
The 2024 red is also scheduled to be unveiled at a preview wine event on Thursday, January 15, 2026.
The venue will be Kiyosumi-Shirakawa Fujimaru Winery.
