Learn at a Winery Too! “Nirasaki Open Factory” Runs for Six Days from July 30

The “Nirasaki Open Factory” will be held for six days from Thursday, July 30 through Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

The program includes a unique opportunity to learn at a winery.

About “Nirasaki Open Factory 2026”

“Nirasaki Open Factory 2026” is a special period when visitors can enter factories around the city that are normally difficult to access, tour them, and take part in hands-on manufacturing experiences.

Nirasaki City is home to many fascinating factories that support everyday life, including world-class semiconductor-related companies. The event gives children and adults alike a chance to experience the fun of making things with all five senses and rediscover the appeal of the region.

Experience and tour programs

A total of 28 companies and organizations will take part in Nirasaki Open Factory 2026, with three varied participation styles:

• Experience + tour: Try your hand at professional skills
• Online: Join from home
• Tour: See the power of factories up close

These programs are planned for the event.

Among them are opportunities to learn at a winery.

Japanese-wine fans may want to take this opportunity to join.
