Nakaizu Winery Chateau T.S is holding a Winter Event where visitors can enjoy Izu wine even during the colder season.
The program includes a hands-on blending experience and limited winter menus at the restaurant, making this winter another season full of attractions.

Since opening, Nakaizu Winery Chateau T.S has continued to pursue the question of “how to make wine that truly reflects Izu,” with passionate grape-growing and winemaking professionals working across a 10-hectare vineyard stretching over the foothills of Izu with sacred Mt. Fuji in the background.
Its December 2025 events are packed with appealing experiences.
Visitors can try making a blended wine, something that is normally difficult to experience, and enjoy a variety of winter-only dishes with wine while looking out over the vineyards in their winter scenery.
The lineup includes locally sourced à la carte dishes made with Izu’s branded lemons, bouillabaisse perfect for the cold season, a special lunch course, and a gourmet event with free-flowing Izu wine, offering plenty of opportunities to enjoy pairings with the food of Izu.
Create-your-own blended wine experience
One highlight of the event is the hands-on blended-wine experience.
Participants can compare the taste of single-variety wines with the changes in flavor and aroma after blending, and search for the blend that best suits their own preferences.
A sommelier guides the experience, so questions such as “What is this aroma?” or “Which grape gives this acidity?” can be answered on the spot—part of the appeal of the event.

Dates: December 27 (Sat) and 28 (Sun)
Times: Session 1 — 11:00
Session 2 — 14:00
Capacity: 10 people per session
Experience fee: Two glasses (100 ml red + 100 ml white), ¥3,000 including tax
Method: First taste three red and three white wines. Then use a graduated cylinder to blend your chosen wines in your own proportions up to 100 ml. You will create one red and one white blend and can drink the wines as they are.
