KYOHO JAPAN Co., Ltd. has resumed sales of its Kyoho rosé sparkling wine “YAWARAI” with the 2025 vintage.
The Japanese rosé brand was adopted by five-star hotels in Tokyo at launch and has earned strong reviews.
About “YAWARAI”
“YAWARAI” is made from 100% estate-grown Kyoho grapes cultivated with great care at the foot of the Mino mountain range, drawing out the clear aromas and flavors unique to this premium fruit.
It offers a new taste experience that challenges conventional ideas of rosé.
About the 2025 Vintage
The 2025 vintage of “YAWARAI” combines a surprisingly crisp acidity with generous fruit, creating a dry and elegant Kyoho rosé sparkling wine that pairs naturally with food and remains enjoyable through the last glass.
It shows its best alongside delicate Japanese dishes such as sashimi, leaving a light, clean finish.
The company is also working on its next challenge: a Japanese sparkling wine based on a different fruit, exploring a new expression of harmony beyond Kyoho.
The second release expanding the world of YAWARAI is scheduled for this summer.
Fruit winemaker Noritomo Kawashima continues to listen closely to the character of the fruit in creating this new sparkling wine.
