“URLAR VIONIER Celler Door Anniversary” was made to commemorate the opening of the Celler Door restaurant attached to URLAR.
A special wine normally available only locally will be sold in a limited quantity.
What’s Inside
The grape variety used for “URLAR VIONIER Celler Door Anniversary” is Viognier.
The grapes come from a special parcel of just one hectare managed directly by the winery.
By intentionally limiting yields, the winery maximizes the fruit’s concentration and individuality.
The wine combines Viognier fermented in older French oak barrels with Viognier vinified on the skins in stainless-steel tanks, creating distinctive aromas and flavors.
Floral aromas evoke lavender and violets.
Complex notes of ripe peach, apricot, melon and even fruit punch garnished with mint can also be enjoyed.
Rich fruit and lively acidity are beautifully balanced.
