The Tomi Wine Festa will be held over two days, Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, 2026, with the south rotary of Tanaka Station on the Shinano Railway as the main venue.
The annual wine festival takes place in Tomi, Nagano Prefecture.
About the “Tomi Wine Festa”
The Tomi Wine Festa brings together wineries and producers making distinctive wines in a climate and landscape well suited to wine-grape cultivation.
It is popular as an event where visitors can fully enjoy local wines and food made with local ingredients.
This year, in addition to wineries and food vendors from Tomi, several businesses from neighboring areas are also expected to participate.
On the second day, Sunday at 11:30, Nagano-born singer-songwriter Kayoko Yuzawa is scheduled to perform.
Fun by Day and Night
The event offers different experiences during the day and at night.
During the daytime program, visitors can compare wines by the glass from local wineries and grape growers, while also enjoying food and hands-on booths for a full sensory experience.
For the evening program, the venue moves across the tracks to the front deck of the day-use hot spring facility Youful Tanaka. Admission is limited to purchasers of either the “2026 Original Wine Glass with TOMI Logo” or the “Original Riedel Wine Glass with TOMI Logo.”
Many wineries will participate.
There is much more planned as well.
