Three Peaks of Ofunato, Iwate, launched new packaging for its 190ml pouch Japanese wine “Umimachi Wine” on July 24 (Fri), 2026.
Two varieties are available: Chardonnay and Merlot.
About the Pouch Japanese Wine “Umimachi Wine”
The defining feature of “Umimachi Wine” is its pouch packaging.
From outdoor activities and train travel, where bottles can be difficult to carry, to souvenirs, sports events, and a glass of wine at a hotel, the lightweight, shatterproof 190ml pouch proposes a new and more flexible way to enjoy Japanese wine.
With this renewal, the package design has been completely refreshed.
Built around a fresh blue inspired by the Sanriku coast, the design expresses the atmosphere of a seaside town.
The eye-catching new look is also intended to make the product’s appeal easier to communicate in stores.
