Here are the details.

“THE MORNING DEWDROPS – Kawanishi Morning Dew”

The product released by Kawanishi City, Hyogo Prefecture, is “THE MORNING DEWDROPS – Kawanishi Morning Dew,” manufactured by Manns Wine Co., Ltd.

Kawanishi City is one of Japan’s leading fig-producing areas and is known as the birthplace of modern fig cultivation. This wine is made with 100% fully ripened “Asa-dori no Megumi” figs harvested early in the morning in Kawanishi.

Approximately 1.8 metric tons of figs were used to produce this fruit wine, which has a sweet fig aroma and a fruity flavor.

The Appeal of “THE MORNING DEWDROPS – Kawanishi Morning Dew”

Commenting on the product, the manager in charge of agricultural policy at the city’s Industrial Promotion Division said: “The figs used as ingredients were carefully grown by approximately 80 farming households in Kawanishi City. Weather conditions were stable during last year’s harvest season, so the fruit developed good color, and I believe people will be able to enjoy a fresh flavor and aroma that feels almost like eating the figs themselves.”

Approximately 3,200 bottles are being released on a limited basis. They are available at locations including the JA Hyogo Rokko Kawanishi Agricultural Support Center in Shimogamo and liquor retailers in Kawanishi City, as well as Farmers Market Smile Hanshin in Kitahonmachi, Itami City, and Pascal Sanda in Kawayoke, Sanda City.
