The Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project will hold a winery dinner event on Saturday, November 15, in collaboration with Kyotamba winery Tamba Wine.
This event is exclusively for guests staying that night at Fairfield by Marriott Kyoto Kyotamba.
Here are the details.
About the “Tamba Wine Winery Dinner”
The “Tamba Wine Winery Dinner” is a popular event that the Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project has held jointly with Kyotamba winery Tamba Wine since 2022.
This edition will be a locally sourced dinner featuring Daichi Kishimoto, representative of Kishimoto Chikusan, producer of the branded pork “Kyotamba Pork.”
Program
“Kyotamba Pork” is a branded pork from Kyotamba.
Its fat is soft and sweet, while the meat is firm yet juicy.
Before dinner, Daichi Kishimoto of Kishimoto Chikusan will speak about his passion and commitment to producing Kyotamba Pork.
One of the pairing wines scheduled to be served is Kyoto Tamba Sangiovese 2021. Although a red wine, its distinctive, elegant acidity gives it increasing depth with each sip, and it is said to pair especially well with Kyotamba Pork.
Tamba Wine will also serve other carefully selected wines to accompany the dinner.
