About “TAKANAWA Yokocho by HAPPO-EN”
The event is held at the Machiai event space in TAKANAWA GATEWAY CITY.
Guests can enjoy exclusive dishes created by Happo-en chefs together with wine and beer.
The event is divided into three periods — still wine, sparkling wine and craft beer — with Happo-en chefs serving a variety of foods created to pair with each beverage category.
It offers a new experience combining food with a wide range of drinks from Japan and overseas.
Japanese Wine in the Still Wine Edition
The Still Wine Edition is currently running through Sunday the 29th.
The lineup includes tasting comparisons of wines by the glass from Japan and overseas as well as bottle sales, designed to satisfy everyone from beginners to experienced wine drinkers.
Three-wine and five-wine tasting sets are also available.
Japanese wine can be enjoyed casually, making the event attractive to Japanese-wine fans as well.
The Sparkling Wine Edition runs from Monday, June 30 through Sunday, July 13, followed by the Craft Beer Edition from Monday, July 14 through Monday, July 21, a public holiday.
