Yamagata Chuo Kanko has begun selling a bus tour for the “Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks & Yonezawa Meat Battle” taking place in Yonezawa, Yamagata Prefecture, on Saturday, October 11, 2025.
The tour will also visit Takahata Winery.

About the Bus Tour
The bus tour to the “Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks & Yonezawa Meat Battle” is jointly planned by Yamagata Chuo Kanko Co., Ltd. and Plat Yonezawa Co., Ltd.
The Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks is the only fireworks festival in Japan themed around the Sengoku period. It is held in Yonezawa, a place associated with the warlord Uesugi Kenshin, and is particularly recommended for people who want to enjoy fireworks together with alcoholic drinks.
Tour Program
The tour travels from Higashine, Tendo, and other departure points to Takahata Winery.
It then continues to the Meat Battle and Yonezawa Sengoku Fireworks, creating a full day of experiences.
The concurrently held Yonezawa Meat Battle is a food festival where creative meat dishes compete for the title of “Meat Shogun.”
Wine lovers and fireworks fans alike may want to join.
