My Story in Card Inc. is collaborating with wineries in Kataoka, Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture.
The company has begun a trial that shares the story of the region through wine-origin information cards.

About the Trial
The trial is being conducted by My Story in Card Inc. with the cooperation of two wineries in Kataoka, Shiojiri that handle everything from grape growing to winemaking: Domaine KOSEI and Okanoue Kosei Winery.
People who receive an origin information card can scan the printed QR code and access a specific article on the website to learn about the history and geographical characteristics of the Kataoka area.
The company says it is testing the concept in the hope that people will enjoy wine more deeply together with the story of its place of origin.
About "The Story of Shiojiri Merlot"
Since February 2024, My Story in Card Inc. has also participated in Sunaba, a civic innovation hub operated by the Shiojiri City Promotion Corporation.
The company continues to explore local stories within the community and, in conjunction with this trial, renewed its archive website (shiojirimerlot.com) and relaunched it as "The Story of Shiojiri Merlot" (Shiojiri Merlot Community JAPAN).
It aims to communicate the appeal of the region in both English and Japanese.
