From September 5 to November 15, 2026, 'OMO5 Otaru by Hoshino Resorts' will hold 'Otaru Canal Wine Cruising' exclusively on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays.
This event allows guests to savor the pairing of local sushi with wines made from 'Tabiji,' a rare grape variety originating in Otaru.

'Otaru Canal Wine Cruising' is a wine cruise where guests can enjoy the pairing of sushi and wine on the Otaru Canal at twilight.
On a boat specially outfitted with tables and cushions for this program, guests can enjoy an elegant cruise while taking in the retro cityscape.
This year, two types of wine are offered: a white wine from 'OSA winery' and an orange wine from 'Hokkaido Wine.' Guests can enjoy an even richer pairing experience with sushi and an appetizer set from 'Sushi-dokoro Maeda.'
