Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza has announced its August sales and event schedule.
A number of events will appeal to drinks lovers, including Shinshu wine and craft beer.

About the Sales and Events
Karuizawa Prince Shopping Plaza is a resort-style shopping mall operated by Seibu Real Estate Property Management Co., Ltd.
Beginning in August, while severe summer heat continues across Japan, the plaza will host events that make the most of Karuizawa’s cool resort atmosphere, including the Summer Clearance Sale, Shinshu Craft Beer Festa & Grass Site Cinema, and the Shinshu Food & Wine Picnic Terrace.
A Shinshu Wine Event Too!
On Saturday and Sunday, August 23 and 24, 2025, the “Shinshu Food & Wine Picnic Terrace” is scheduled to take place on the Garden Mall lawn.
Under the theme of “Shinshu wine and dishes made with Shinshu ingredients,” around 10 wineries and breweries from Shinshu and around eight food trucks serving dishes made with local ingredients are expected to participate.
The Shinshu Craft Beer Festa will also be held on Saturday and Sunday, August 9 and 10, 2025.
