Nanyo Wine Festival 2026 will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, on the prefectural road and parking area in front of Ekubo Plaza, Akayu Community Center, in Nanyo, Yamagata Prefecture.
Now in its 53rd edition, the long-running festival is currently selling tickets.

About the Nanyo Wine Festival
The event is organized by the Nanyo City Wine Village Development Committee, which includes six wineries in the city along with the tourism association, chamber of commerce, ryokan association and JA Okitama agricultural cooperative.
It is popular as a rare opportunity to compare wines from each winery while speaking directly with the winemakers themselves.
About Nanyo Wine Festival 2026
In addition to six local wineries, the 2026 event will feature numerous food booths serving dishes that pair well with wine.
Music from DJs active in Tokyo will fill the venue, creating a space where wine, food and music come together.
