On Monday, November 10, 2025, “2024 Asagarano Minori,” a collaborative wine created by a Shiga Prefecture winery and seven hotels, will go on sale.
The original wine was jointly developed with Ota Shuzo Co., Ltd.’s Ritto Winery and will be limited to 800 bottles: 300 red and 500 white.

About the Collaboration Wine
The wine was jointly developed by seven hotels—Lake Biwa Otsu Prince Hotel, Kusatsu Estopia Hotel, Hikone Castle Resort & Spa, Biwako Hotel, Hotel New Omi, Hotel Boston Plaza Kusatsu, and L’Hotel de Hiei—together with Ota Shuzo Co., Ltd.’s Ritto Winery.
As the 17th installment of the collaboration, “2024 Asagarano Minori” will be released this time.
About “2024 Asagarano Minori”
“2024 Asagarano Minori” was completed by sommeliers from the seven hotels, who repeatedly blended wines made from grapes grown in Ritto Winery’s own vineyards so that the result would pair with a wide range of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes.
The red is a 50/50 blend of barrel-aged 2024 Yama Sauvignon and Muscat Bailey A. The white blends 50% 2024 Chardonnay, 40% Kerner, and 10% Red Millennium.
Both the red and white are Japanese wines made entirely from grapes harvested in the winery’s own vineyards in Shiga Prefecture.
Only 800 bottles will be available—300 red and 500 white—making this a particularly limited release.
