Risonare Yatsugatake will offer Domaine Mie Ikeno’s “Mie Ikeno 2024 Millésime” wines exclusively to hotel guests.
Sales begin June 13, 2026, with three wines made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot grown in the vineyard known as the Cat Paw Vineyard.
About “Mie Ikeno 2024 Millésime”
Domaine Mie Ikeno is a winery situated on a small hill at the foot of the Yatsugatake Mountains.
Winemaker Mie Ikeno’s commitment to “making high-quality wine from 100% estate-grown grapes” is reflected in an integrated approach that covers everything from grape growing to winemaking.
Three “Mie Ikeno 2024 Millésime” wines will be sold exclusively to hotel guests.
They are the 2024-vintage Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot.
About the Wines
The “Mie Ikeno 2024 Millésime” lineup is as follows.
・“Mie Ikeno Chardonnay 2024”
A vibrant wine with a beautiful pale-gold color and layered nuances of apple honey, yellow peach and quince. Sweet aromas of white flowers such as lilac and jasmine are joined by fresh herbs and juicy citrus notes reminiscent of mandarin orange and pineapple, creating an elegant Chardonnay in which firm acidity and fruit intertwine.
・“Mie Ikeno Pinot Noir 2024”
It opens with rich berry aromas such as raspberry and cherry, followed by a harmonious blend of herbs, black pepper, black tea, mineral notes, undergrowth and citrus. It is an impressive Pinot Noir with firm acidity and strength.
・“Mie Ikeno Merlot 2024”
This wine has an impressive garnet color tinged with purple. Darjeeling tea, licorice, raspberry and dried fruit mingle pleasantly with fresh mint, cacao and peony in a distinctive and complex aromatic profile.
This year, “Mie Ikeno Mori-no-Hibiki Symphony Pinot Noir 2024” will also be offered.
