On April 17, 19, 29 and 30 and May 1, 2026, The Journey to Vintage Episode 1: “Planting Vines 2026” will be held at the future La Maison Rustique site in Tomi, Nagano Prefecture.
Participants can plant wine-grape vines, enjoy a traditional farm-break meal, and meet local producers.

About the Event
Organized by Japan Go Round Co., Ltd., the event marks the first step in the history of La Maison Rustique, a members-only home winery scheduled to open in Tomi in autumn 2027.
In Tomi’s beautiful landscape, participants will work the soil alongside producers and experience the site as a place where they can feel a personal sense of belonging.
Program Highlights

• Sharing the project vision
• A ceremonial vine-planting experience
• A traditional farm-break snack and rest
• Interaction with local producers
• Writing a letter to the future
Lunch will be provided by TOMI WINE CHAPEL, a popular restaurant and wine shop at the gateway to the Chikuma River Wine Valley, pairing a course made with local ingredients with wines from Tomi and the valley.
Participants will also meet Mr. Miyano of AGRONAUME, who grows mainly European vegetables organically in Tomi.
