Hakutsuru Sake Brewing Launches Four “Kobe Wine” Labels Expressing Kobe Terroir on February 20

Hakutsuru Sake Brewing Co., Ltd. will release four wines nationwide on Friday, February 20, 2026: “Kobe Wine Red,” “Kobe Wine White Dry,” “Kobe Wine White Semi-Sweet,” and “Kobe Wine Rosé.”

All are Japanese wines made with 100% Kobe-grown grapes.

Here are the details.

About the 2025 Vintage

According to the producer, 2025 brought little rainfall and ideal conditions for grapes, resulting in high-quality fruit and wines.

The wines are intended to express Kobe terroir shaped by the soils of the Rokko mountain range, Setouchi sunshine and the winds of Kobe.

About the Lineup

The wines being released by Hakutsuru are as follows.

・Kobe Wine Red

A pleasant red wine with vivid red-berry aromas, youthful acidity and smooth tannins in harmony.

・Kobe Wine White Dry

A dry white with bright tropical-fruit aromas and fresh, refreshing acidity.

・Kobe Wine White Semi-Sweet

A semi-sweet white with elegant Japanese-citrus aromas reminiscent of hassaku and mikan, together with gentle natural sweetness.

・Kobe Wine Rosé

A dry rosé with aromas of freshly picked strawberries, soft richness and mild acidity in balance.
