Recover from the Day with Shinshu Wine! “Sake to Gohan ko-bo” Opens at Long-Established Hakuba Inn

Sake to Gohan ko-bo, a new dining spot, has opened inside the long-established Mura no HOTEL Shinya, right beside Happo Bus Terminal in Hakuba Village.

It is an inviting place to unwind after a day of travel.

Here are the details.

About “Sake to Gohan ko-bo”

Sake to Gohan ko-bo is a restaurant opened inside the long-established Mura no HOTEL Shinya.

It is the second location under the ko-bo brand, following Yukiguni Hakko Sakaba ko-bo, which opened in front of Matsumoto Station in June 2025. The Hakuba location was created as an approachable dining place centered on familiar Japanese dishes that travelers can easily enjoy.

Unwind with Shinshu Wine

Sake to Gohan ko-bo is designed for tourists visiting Hakuba in winter as well as local residents who have limited options for an evening meal.

The menu centers on sashimi, sushi, tempura, Wagyu steak, jingisukan-style lamb steak and teriyaki chicken, with many dishes also using local ingredients.

The drink list is equally broad, including house-brewed craft beer, carefully selected local Shinshu sake and wines, and soda made with house blueberry syrup.

It is a spot worth checking for Japanese-wine fans who also love snow resorts.
