The Katsunuma Wine Film Festival is held every year in Katsunuma.
Many wine lovers may look forward to it each year, and this year marks the milestone 10th edition, with an even more ambitious program planned.

The 10th Edition: “A Perfect Day for Adults Who Love Katsunuma Wine”
The program goes well beyond the previous nine editions, including special buses touring 14 host wineries and a winemakers’ dinner.

Organizer: 10th Katsunuma Wine Film Festival Executive Committee (bringing together winery staff and volunteers) Support: Koshu City, Koshu City Society of Commerce and Industry, Katsunuma Wine Association, Budo-no-Oka, Yamanashi Nichinichi Shimbun / Yamanashi Broadcasting System Date: Saturday, February 21, 2026 — Morning session from 9:00 am / Afternoon session from 1:30 pm Venue: Koshu City Katsunuma Budo-no-Oka Event Hall + 14 host wineries
Purpose: A project in which Yamanashi’s wine industry, fruit agriculture, tourism sector and others work together in Japan’s leading wine and fruit-producing region to promote the area by creating a new tourism culture that combines a film festival with local attractions.
An Appealing Program
(1) Guest shuttle buses
・Shuttle service connecting the main venue at Budo-no-Oka with local stations
(2) Katsunuma winery tour — special buses for ticket holders
・Check-in begins at each host winery from 9:00 am
・Two dedicated buses circulate from 8:30 am between JR Katsunuma-budokyo Station and Enzan Station
・Each winery offers its own distinctive hospitality
(3) Wine Film Festival — movie screening and wine party (Budo-no-Oka Event Hall)
・Doors open 1:30 pm; festival begins 2:00 pm ・Featured film: Haute Cuisine (France, 2012)
・After the screening, 14 wineries host a cellar-release wine party
・A specially selected snack menu designed to pair with the wines will be announced on the day
・Price: ¥6,000 advance / ¥6,500 same day (limited to first 250 guests)
(4) Winemakers’ Dinner — enjoy the Katsunuma night view (optional event)
・Starts at 7:00 pm at the Budo-no-Oka restaurant
・Enjoy a barbecue-style dinner and wine together with the winemakers
・Price: ¥4,000 (limited to first 50 guests)
