About Hokkaido Local Cheese Expo 2026
The event is organized by Hokuren Federation of Agricultural Cooperatives to communicate the appeal of Hokkaido-made cheese.
First held in 2019, the 2026 edition will be the eighth and is one of Tokyo's largest local-cheese events, bringing together more than 300 cheeses from 50 companies.
This year's theme is “Good Days Begin with Hokkaido Local Cheese.”
The program is designed to let visitors experience more deeply how Hokkaido cheese can enrich not only food enjoyment but daily life itself.

Fifty workshops and manufacturers gather in a market featuring more than 300 Hokkaido cheeses.
・Select 5 & Hokkaido Local Cheese General Election 2026
Choose and compare from 50 cheeses for ¥500 — the popular annual experience for discovering a favorite cheese.
・Venue-exclusive menus using Hokkaido cheese
Special dishes available only here, created through collaborations with popular shops.
・Pairing drinks with Hokkaido cheese
Drinks that pair well with Hokkaido cheese, including Hokkaido wine, craft beer and sake.
・Talk Sessions & Salon
A stage filled with tips from food professionals for enriching everyday life.
The Hokkaido wine pairings are especially noteworthy.
