The “Higashikawa Christmas Market” will be held over two days, Saturday and Sunday, December 6–7, in Higashikawa, Hokkaido.
The event will use three facilities in town as its main venues and will also offer wines from Hokkaido.

Higashikawa Christmas Market
The Higashikawa Christmas Market is held in Higashikawa, Hokkaido, known as the “Town of Photography.”
Venues include the Centpure I & II community complex in the town center, the Higashikawa Culture Gallery, and the Higashikawa Coexistence Plaza Sorairo.
Alongside an interior exhibition by local woodworking and furniture businesses, visitors will find baked goods, breads, other food and drinks from popular shops, plus Christmas decorations and gift items.
Hokkaido Wine Too!
Around 100 exhibitors are expected again this year, including Hokkaido wine producers selling wine and workshops that can be enjoyed by both children and adults.
Special programs linked to the town’s digital local currency, HUC (Higashikawa Universal Card), are also planned.
A free shuttle bus with a special Christmas design will circulate among the three facilities.
