From Saturday, May 16 through Saturday, May 30, 2026, “GREY ART MUSEUM 2026 — Heritage with Innovation Through the Five Senses” will be held at WALL_alternative in Nishiazabu, Tokyo.
The exhibition will also serve original-label wines from Charmant Wine and Le milieu.
About the Exhibition
“GREY ART MUSEUM 2026 — Heritage with Innovation Through the Five Senses” is an exhibition marking the annual “Grey Days,” a celebration of grey, the color that symbolizes the New Balance brand.
The exhibition is being held again this year together with MEET YOUR ART, an art project that aims to expand the possibilities of art and artists through new approaches.
For 2026, the project collaborates with five creators — Kan Izumi, Kasetsu, Rei Kunimoto, Shinnosuke Tojo and Motosuke Mandai — to reinterpret “grey” from multiple perspectives around the theme “Heritage with Innovation.”
The exhibition is designed as an immersive experience open to all five senses, crossing the boundaries of space, sound, scent, experience and food.
Original Wine Labels Will Also Appear
A menu based on the theme “Heritage with Innovation” will be offered at the exhibition.
Alongside items such as GG Noodles, smoky Kyoto bancha gelato and a “drinkable New Balance,” Japanese wines with original labels will also be available.
Charmant Wine is a winery with more than 60 years of history.
Le milieu is an up-and-coming winery producing distinctive wines despite having been established less than a decade ago. Wines from both wineries will be served with GREY ART MUSEUM 2026 original labels featuring artwork by Kasetsu.
It is an exhibition Japanese-wine fans will want to watch.
