About the Wine
This first-ever attempt at “Merlot (Rosé)” by the winery faced insufficient grape coloration due to climate change, but careful pressing and vinification resulted in a beautifully colored rosé wine.
With a weight between light and medium-bodied, it pairs well with fish dishes and lighter meat dishes. Production is limited, making it a small-production release.
The wine can be purchased through Goto Winery’s official online shop as well as souvenir shops and liquor stores in Goto City and souvenir shops elsewhere in Nagasaki Prefecture.
