Ginza NAGANO to Host “TS Takeover — Domaine Kosei” on July 19

A special event, “TS Takeover — Domaine Kosei,” will be held at Ginza NAGANO on Sunday, July 19, 2026.

Winery founder Kosei Ajimura, known as “Mr. Merlot,” is scheduled to attend.

About Domaine Kosei

Domaine Kosei began growing grapes in the Kataoka area of Shiojiri, Nagano Prefecture in 2016 and established its winery in 2019.

Founder Kosei Ajimura is one of Japan’s leading winemakers. After many years serving as a chief winemaker, he has made a major contribution to the development of Japanese wine.

He is particularly known for his deep knowledge of and passion for Merlot, earning him the nickname “Mr. Merlot.”

Ajimura will be present at the event, giving visitors a special opportunity to explore Merlot grown in Kataoka, one of Nagano’s leading wine regions, while hearing directly from the producer.

“TS Takeover — Domaine Kosei” will take place in the 2F tasting space at Ginza NAGANO.

A highlight is its walk-in free-tasting format, with no reservation required.

Six representative Domaine Kosei wines will be offered, and visitors can choose three to compare.

It is an approachable event for everyone from wine beginners to enthusiasts to experience the appeal of Nagano wine.
