On Sunday, September 21, 2025, Authent Hotel Otaru will host a Domaine Kuheiji maker’s dinner at its restaurant Casablanca.
It is a rare dinner offering guests the chance to enjoy the interplay between sake and wine.

About Domaine Kuheiji
Domaine Kuheiji is a wine brand created in Burgundy, France by Kuheiji, the Japanese sake producer whose sake is highly regarded even at Michelin-starred restaurants in Paris.
By learning the philosophy, traditions and techniques of wine, Kuheiji has been able to reconsider those of sake, and by combining the two, pursue innovation. This is the worldview behind KUHEIJI.
For this event, Authent Hotel Otaru will welcome senior wine sommelier Satoshi Miyazawa as navigator and showcase the appeal of Domaine Kuheiji, described as the world’s only producer with both a sake brewery and a wine domaine.
About the Dinner
On the evening, a Japanese chef, a French chef and a sake specialist will approach the pairings from both directions, serving a special Japanese-and-Western course designed to bring out the full appeal of the drinks.
Each plate combines the delicacy of Japanese cuisine with the dynamism of Western cuisine, creating a one-night-only dinner that explores new possibilities for both wine and sake.
