A crowdfunding seminar will be held at CHIBA-LABO on Wednesday, September 10.
The challenger talk will feature Hirotaka Otsuka of Chiba Winery, the first winery in Chiba City.
Here are the details.
About the Crowdfunding Seminar
Chiba City will mark the 900th anniversary of its founding in 2026.
To commemorate the milestone, the crowdfunding seminar will be held to support students and other younger generations as they use crowdfunding to “connect with the community” and “turn their ideas into reality.”
The seminar will support the next generation of challengers through talks by people who have carried out crowdfunding projects and discussion sessions with advisors.
Guest Talks Too!
The program will include introductions to successful crowdfunding projects, talk sessions with people who have launched campaigns, challenger talks and a networking session.
The challenger talk will feature Hirotaka Otsuka of the Winery Business Division at Tomio Holdings Co., Ltd. He previously launched a project in 2024 and will take on his second challenge in autumn 2025.
He will discuss the second crowdfunding campaign, which aims for a future in which Chiba will be known as “Wine Prefecture Chiba” by the 1,000th anniversary of Chiba’s founding 100 years from now.
The event is intended for young people and students, and participation is free.
