On Saturday, June 27, 2026, Hokkaido Wine Co., Ltd. will hold the “40th Otaru Wine Carnival — A Freer Wine Experience.”
Visitors can enjoy a full day of the company’s wines, delicious food and entertaining activities.
About the Otaru Wine Carnival
The Otaru Wine Carnival is an event independently organized by Hokkaido Wine Co., Ltd.
For its milestone 40th edition, the event moves to early summer in June and, after being held in an Otaru shopping district last year, returns for the first time in two years to Hokkaido Wine’s Wine Hill Park, or SL Plaza, a familiar location for Otaru residents.
The subtheme is “A Freer Wine Experience.”
It expresses the idea that everyone, whether they drink alcohol or not, can be the main character and enjoy a free style of wine experience.
Program
The event will offer premium glasses for wine lovers as well as newly released wine-grape juice and non-alcoholic cocktails that guests of any age can raise in a toast.
At the company-operated Otaru Wine Gallery, special carnival-only tours and the popular Warehouse Sale for bulk purchases will also be held.
Other attractions include a premium wine bar corner, food area with tents and food trucks, and company booths.
