Fairfield by Marriott Hokkaido Minamifurano will hold a Furano wine tasting event on Friday, February 13, 2026.
The special event is limited to guests staying at the hotel that night.
Here are the details.
About the Collaboration
The event is a collaboration between the Fairfield by Marriott Michi-no-Eki Project and the Furano City Grape and Fruit Research Institute in Furano, Hokkaido, offering guests the chance to taste Furano wines.
Limited to guests staying at Fairfield by Marriott Hokkaido Minamifurano on the event date, it will be the second edition following the first event in February 2025.
About the Event
Guests will be able to taste “Perle Blanche,” an authentic sparkling wine made using the time- and labor-intensive traditional secondary fermentation in bottle.
Other carefully selected Furano wines available for free tasting include “Barrel Furano White,” aged for one year in French oak and balancing fresh fruit aromas with rich barrel notes, and “Furano Wine Rosé,” known for its fragrant grape aromas, clear beautiful color and fruity flavor.
Several appetizers made with ingredients distinctive to Hokkaido will also be sold, including cheese, sliced Ezo deer salami, and canned brown bear and Ezo deer, all well suited to wine.
